Engineer IV - RF

Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Network Engineer that will be responsible for performing launches and optimization and audit of a network to meet customer requirements.

The role focuses on executing design, audit, launch and optimization of services, where you will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process. Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Launch Tuning & Post launch optimization meeting the project targets and SLAs (Service level Agreements and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Establish Cross functional relationships and work with multiple teams

Effectively present to the Leadership teams internally and with Customer

Identify add-on sales opportunities

Assist in the development of a service proposal

Participate in knowledge sharing activities

Collect and document customer requirements

Be an Ericsson Consultant and suggest suitable future OPEX/CAPEX investments that will benefit the Customer networks

Key Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and preferred Masters, in Engineering (IT, Telecom) or equivalent

5-7 years of advanced experience of network Tuning, Optimization and deployment working in major markets in US or North America

Strong competence of 2G, 3G or LTE(4G) technologies

Good understanding of 5G Technology and advanced wireless concepts and 3GPP specifications

Advanced technical knowledge in the network area of working (Radio, Transport, Core or Wireline)

Experience working with tools to process and get traces/OSS information from a live network and perform detailed trials to analyze and improve network performance

Good understanding of eNodeB configuration & operation and wireless physical layer detail knowledge

Knowledge of call flows and system architecture

Advanced Business Acumen and Consultative skills

Lead experience working cross functionally with Customer and various business groups within company and global teams.

Both self-driven and highly motivated and be able to work in teams

Engineering forecasting ability with cost-benefit analysis.

Additional Requirements:

Extensive travel may be required for short or long-term projects

Ability to lead large teams

 Excellent Verbal and Written Communication and Presentation skills

Data analytics expertise and preferred experience in tools like Tableau, SQL
