Together, we can transform healthcare.Join us for a career in IT that changes lives.Medtronic is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.  Check out the accomplishments of our Women in IT group!  http://bit.ly/MedtronicWomeninIT   A DAY IN THE LIFE• Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of CI/CD on top of Kubernetes and Cloud Platforms.• Utilize test driven development practices to develop secure, scalable, highly available, and self-healing cloud infrastructure environments that leverage cloud native services• Execute DevOps CI/CD pipelines and maintain consistent environments across critical applications• Collaborate with development teams and internal stakeholders to specify operational characteristics and support of complex infrastructure• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to identify new technologies and tools to utilize on a go forward basis• Provide technical demos to and lead deep-dive discussions with prospective customers• Troubleshoot network and performance issues in large scale distributed systems• Facilitate collaboration, sharing, trust and cross-pollination of skills with other engineers, product owners, designers, and business units• Drive change through new technology adoption and re-engineering where necessary to support continuous improvement MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)• Bachelor’s degree• 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)• Previous Medtronic experience• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration• Experience in container and DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, and OpenShift. • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD automation processes & pipelines• Experience in deploying and operating infrastructure components in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud.• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible• Programming expertise - can write scripts from scratch in Python, bash or similar language• Experience managing cloud scalability or a mission critical environment• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems as well as Containers• AWS Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer Certification• Experience in deploying/managing software to on-premises, co-located, cloud, and hybrid cloud.• Experience with version control systems with Git such as GitLab, BitBucket or Azure DevOps• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, etc.• Working knowledge of security technologies in a large, distributed, containerized environment; RBAC, service-related security features, networking, firewalls, encryption, and related best practices• Well-developed relationship building and networking skills to build alliances around DevOps goals and accelerate processes.
