Limitation on Enrollment: This course is not open to students with previous credit for Computer Business Technology 51 or Computer Business Technology 161. This course provides students with hands-on practice in basic computer skills. Emphasis is placed on computer terminology and the fundamentals of computer software and hardware, file management, data security, networks, the Internet and e-commerce, and careers in the Information Technology (IT) industry. This course is intended for students interested in learning basic computer and Internet skills as well as those interested in careers in the IT field. (FT) AA/AS.
