How do you know if a company is worth investing in? How do banks operate? Find out the answers in Year 1 as you learn the fundamental concepts in finance and IT. Trading and Investments Construct an investment portfolio with various financial instruments from equities, bonds, foreign exchange to derivatives. Learn how they are traded in the markets through IT systems. Like a practitioner, you have access to Thomson Reuters professional software which is used in major financial institutions in Singapore. Work in Finance In your third year, you will apply your financial knowledge and IT skills through internships at banks and financial institutions. These internships could be in Singapore and/or overseas.
