The Parallel Degree Programme in Management and Digital Innovation offered by HSE University and the University of London aims to give students extensive academic knowledge and practical skills in digital technology management.
As a graduate of the programme, you will receive two BSc diplomas—a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics from HSE University and a Bachelor of Science in Management and Digital Innovation from the University of London (UoL). This combination of coursework in business informatics, management and digital innovation makes this programme one of a kind in Russia.

The programme’s curriculum, which aligns with the requirements and standards of both Russian and British education, is delivered by highly qualified teaching staff members who include both full-time HSE and UoL teachers and outside experts.
During your first year, you will receive intensive training in English, as well as a block of both mathematics and general courses.
Courses offered by the London School of Economics (LSE) that are available for the duration of the programme include:
- Introduction to Information Systems
- Information Systems Management
- Management and Innovation of e-Business
- Management and Social Media
- Research Project in Digital Innovation
To ensue high quality standards, examinations for these courses take place in an authorized exam centre. Furthermore, support and supervision for the British part of the programme are guided by the latest methods and best practices, including the provision of cutting-edge teaching materials and a virtual learning environment.
While enrolled in the programme, you will also take a number of courses in business informatics at HSE, including:
- Enterprise Architecture
- Data Management
Finally, the programme also includes an academic minor, project work and a final thesis. Regarding project work, your practical knowledge and skills in innovation management will be developed through partnerships with large companies characterized by their strong digital infrastructure and opportunities for onsite internships.
The comprehensive and in-depth training you receive in managing digital innovation, coupled with competencies in business informatics, will make you ideally positioned to pursue career opportunities in a variety of Russian and foreign companies. How to apply
If you are interested in enrolling in the Parallel Degree Programme in Management and Digital Innovation offered by HSE University and the University of London, you will need to submit an application online and then take two entry exams in Mathematics and English that are conducted by HSE online (December through May), as well as on-site (in summer). Both exams are conducted in English. Please see below for additional information on both exams.

Please note that this programme is conducted entirely in English. A high level of English proficiency is therefore required for you to be successful. If you have taken the IELTS, those results can be submitted for consideration. Not having a certificate does not disqualify you from admission process, however.
